Cocchiaro Rosaria

Arrived in Adelaide in 1959 with children Antonio and Pasquale to join her husband Luigi. She was born to Angelo Maffei and Rosa Peca, and with older brother Giuseppe and younger brother Giovanni, was brought up on a farm in Torrecuso, Benevento, Italy. She married Luigi in 1946 and worked with him on their farm until 1956 when he left for Australia, and then continued to run the farm, look after her two children and also supplied milk to many people in Torrecuso until moving to Adelaide in 1959. She was a very hard worker, was completely unselfish and only thought of her family. Wife of Luigi for 62 years, mother of Antonio with Antonietta and Pasquale with Mary. Nonna of Rosalie with Aaron, Gino, Rosemary with Spiro, Carmel with John, Leon with Teegan, Vanessa and Cristina. Bisnonna of Athan, Amaia,Allegra,Scarlett and Andrew.
