University of Western Australia Studying Engineering. Initially lived at Kingswood College at the university, but later moved in with Ian Campbell in Marmion Street, Cottesloe.
Mum died after a long battle with cancer. This was a seminal moment in my life. For the first time I really thought about the meaning of life and decided what I was doing was not making me happy. So I quit university and headed out on a new path, at the time unknown.
Clifford Booth Started work at International Nickel Australia Ltd. International Nickel was a Canadian company so this was my first exposure to Canada as most of the bosses and many of the workers were Canadian. This job took me all over Western Australia and to many isolated outback places I would never have seen, but for it.

I met Stephanie Brown at the Waratah Club and we had a loving relationship for about a year. We tried the long distance relationship after I moved to Port Augusta, but we were both young and it was much harder in those days. Like all good things in my life, from time to time, I still remember Stephanie with great fondness.
Clifford Booth Secured a job as Assistant Programmer at Commonwealth Railways in Port Augusta. The start of my IT career.
I met Andrea through Maurice and Lynne Hughes and we started a relationship. I worked with Maurice at the IT department of Commonwealth Railways. Andrea moved to Port Augusta and we rented a flat before eventually moving to Melbourne.
Clifford Booth Resigned from Commonwealth Railways and accepted a job with TAA in Melbourne. This was the beginning of a long period of time working in the airline industry.

Moved to Copenhagen to work with Christian Rovsing A/S on the Air Canada Data Network (C$150M) and the American Airlines Data Network (US$220M)
Hired by Sperry Computer Systems to work at SAS Data after Christian Rovsing was sold.
