MURFITT, Christopher Thomas; Aged 56. It with sadness that we announce Chris passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday 19th July 2016 after a courageous battle with Motor Neuron Disease. Much loved son of Tom & Bev Murfitt and Father to Sarah, Shania, Tianna, Shakira, Tenisha, Payton, Preston & Brooklyn. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Susan & Frank Salce, Michelle & John Street, Maureen, Dwight & Alison, James, Darlene & Marc Ladbrook. Loved uncle to all his nephews & nieces. . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Motor Neurone Disease NZ would be appreciated and can be posted to the Murfitt family C/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth.
