Charles Augustus CATES
In the First World War, Charles Augustus CATES volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Sydney, New South Wales aboard HMAT Port Sydney on 17 August 1918. He was a member of the General Service Reinforcements. Charles is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
