RUITER Cecilia Maria (Lia) (nee van der Gulik) Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday 3rd September 2016 surrounded by her loving family, aged 70. Much loved wife and soulmate of Sam for 50 years. Devoted and inspirational mother and mother in law of Andrew and Sindy, Baby Ruiter (dec), Mark and Josie, Corina and David, Leanne and Iain, Samantha and Warren, Simon and Leisa. The bestest Oma in the world to Jayne, Hayden, Jason, Ryan, Simone, Josh, Brady, Kaitlin, Nikita, Joel, Kylie, Monique, Danielle, Jessica, Chelsea, Joseph, James and Ruby. A requiem mass will be celebrated for Lia at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, King Street, Whakatane on Wednesday 7th September at 11am followed by burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Ohope Road, Whakatane. Thank you to all the doctors and staff of Whakatane Hospital and EBOP Hospice for taking such special care of Lia.
