27 Jul 2022 - 21 Jun 2018Carole Joy Brown Keim, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on June 21, 2018. Carole Joy Keim was born July 27th, 1922 in a family of thirteen children. She was born in Mitchell South Dakota, her father was John Frank Brown and mother was Blanche Luella Farris. As a young girl the family moved to Aberdeen Idaho where they lived on a farm while her father and older brothers worked for trade of housing and food. Later they moved to California, this is where she met and married Bill Dow and had her beloved son Leslie William Dow. Later she divorced Bill and Married Kenneth Clyde Keim a match made in heaven. They were married in Las Vegas, June 25 1943. Carole and Kenny continued to live in California, this is where Tamara joy and Raymond Charles were born and later settled in Ontario Oregon where Michael Aaron, Carolee and Veve Lavon were born. Carole was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She not only put her energy and talents into her family she worked along the side of her husband in his business "Keim Contract Cleaning" After her husband passed in 1997 she started working as seamstress for Alexanders. She wanted to help children, so she contributed her time to children that needed extra help and worked as an instructor for the reading program at Cairo elementary. Carole continued working up until she was eighty years old. She had many talents and the desire to learn, she was continually taking courses to better herself she took painting classes and took classes on how to write children's stories and wrote a short story called "My Turn." She was a talented artist and sketched portraits of her grandchildren. and loved oil painting. She made the sweetest Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and stitched the words (I love you) on each one of them. Carole was known for her incredible pancakes, with hot maple syrup that no one could match, we often referred to them as "grandmas pancakes," and wondered if the reaso
