She was mentally and physically tough and she didn’t pass on opportunities in work and in family life. In her latter years I really appreciated corresponding with her by phone or text. I always received a text from her when the Packers were playing since Wendell is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Margie and I enjoyed our trip to Oregon when we saw Carole, Wendell, Sarah, Michael and her Grandkids. It was great that we all got together recently when her family members came to California to see Mona, Gene, Nick, Noel and family. Carole will be missed but we will always have good memories of her.
