Mary Carr Nan and Pa's wedding day.
Mary Carr Carmel during her teaching years. She was incredibly dedicated to her work and it reflected in her student's appreciation for her. I remember one day she showed me a drawing one of her students drew of the two of them. She was so proud, it lived on her fridge for months.

Mary Carr Carmel schmoozing the Priest, she was very charming.
Mary Carr The Submariners dinner in 1989.
Mary Carr Nan and Pa with Oscar, they loved walking him along the seaside every morning. He was a bundle of energy and a little mischievous, much like Nan.
Mary Carr A beautiful portrait of mum, one of my favourite photos of her. I still have the gorgeous, emerald dress with me and will cherish it as a special piece of mum to have with me.
Mary Carr Mum sucking up to the bell boy, she was always up to something. I loved how cheeky she was!
Mary Carr Our trip to London. We spent the day exploring the sites. Nan's favourite was Harrods, we even had to pull her out of the store with bags covering her arms. Before, we enjoyed a beautiful lunch overlooking the River Thames.
Mary Carr A trip to London with mum and my sisters. We spent the weekend walking through Hyde Park and a quick shop on Oxford Street. A very special trip for us all and one that we hold dearly.
Mary Carr Nan's 80th birthday, she loved ice cream cake. I remember she would always let the grandkids blow out her candles, it was a race who would be the quickest amongst us.
Mary Carr Mums 80th Birthday Celebrations.
Mary Carr Mum at the market with her art, she had enough to share her creativity with others. Her pieces went rather quickly and she had the biggest grin on her face all day. We were so proud of mum.
Mary Carr Nan also had a creative side, which particularly came out in her latter years. She enjoyed painting and always felt relaxed doing so. Landscape, realism painting with watercolours were favourite and I think all her children have one or two hanging in their house. A priceless piece of art for us to hold onto.
Mary Carr Nan not long before she passed. She would sit in her chair for hours, painting, stroke by stroke. Every time we came out, her grin was from ear to ear with joy. She was passionate about art and always ensured she was doing something she loved.
