Caleb King

Our sweet Caleb was born in Minnesota and raised in Indiana from the age of 2. As a toddler he showed interest in anything he could pretend to wire together including shoestrings. He loved to learn, play with his dog, Ginger, and swim and boat with friends and family. He enjoyed legos and any old electronics became his toys. His dad would bring home old computers and the rest is history. Caleb joined robotics, earned A+ computer certificate and had an internship at a computer fixit shop. He was a straight A student on an academic scholarship for Computer Information Technology at IUPUI. At age 14 Caleb started a MineCraft community, where he made lifelong friendships. Here they develop their creative ideas with visual graphics, design, computer programming and many other skills. Caleb and his talented team created this community with good values, for families with kids, other warriors fighting illnesses and anyone to play, have fun and connect in a safe environment. This community from all over the world has shared how they’ve been able touch countless lives because of Caleb and his teams’ kindness, brilliance and commitment to excellence. We hope he knows in Heaven, just how many lives he impacted! Throughout all this he stayed positive, continuing to help others in any way he could but his health was worsening. Unable to eat, surviving on IV’s, leaving him bed bound, he became a student of his many conditions. He was even considering becoming patient advocate, to stick up for others who suffered with complex conditions like his: Stiff Person Syndrome, Autoimmune Disorder, Mitochondrial Disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. We prayed when Caleb was in the womb that he would have a heart for The Lord. It’s clear to see our prayers were answered and we couldn’t be more proud of our son!
