de SILVA, Barry Joseph William. On Monday 18th April 2016 at Whakatane Hospital, suddenly but peacefully; aged 77. Loved husband of Lorna. Loved father and father inlaw of Jason and Linda (Taupo), stepfather of Peter, Debbie, Melinda and Toni. Poppa of Ayla, Vincent, Rico, Diego. Brother of Graham, Raewyn (dec), Judy, Jan, and Meryl (dec). Many thanks to the doctors and staff of the ACU and Medical Wards at Whakatane Hospital. A funeral service for Barry will be held at the Opotiki Golf Club, Fromow Road, Opotiki on Friday 22nd April at 11am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ, PO Box 99-182, Newmarket, Auckland would be greatly appreciated or can be left at the service.
