Barry BELL

Barry “Bazza” Bell passed away on Wed May 21 2025. Bazza’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of family and friends. Born in Natimuk, on the 25th April 1940 to unwed parents Nell Rice and Daniel “Mick” Crowley. He was rushed to the St James Orphanage not long after birth, where he spent the first few years of his life. A wonderful woman, Hilda Bell, saw this young boy when visiting the orphanage. She took him home, named him Barry Bell and she and her husband George formally adopted him in 1947. Bazz grew up in Francis Street, Ascot Vale.
