Michael Andros A few pictures from one of Andy’s favourite holiday destinations, thanks for teaching us many life lessons, overwhelming us with your generosity and being such a caring grandfather, love you forever papou
Alex Sarris Had a few older and newer pics i thought i'd add. He was a great Man and Uncle and I feel didn't hold back with anything he did throughout his life. Uncle Andy will be sadly missed and always remembered for the amazing person that he was.
Emma Andros What a difference 12mths can make. This was Fathers Day last year… we visited Andy at every opportunity we could swing a Sunday together when the kids weren’t working. Seeing them lit up his heart but didn’t stop his inappropriate stories 🙈 The 2 hr trip was often filled with us guessing who’d be visiting today! There was always a constant flow of people coming through the house. By the time we hit Butler the phone would ring, it’s Andy “where are ya son”? Would we go to Neptunes or the Pickled Herring? Did you bring an esky? I’ve got some crays for ya! There are so many memories we’ll hold dear to our hearts of this incredible man, father and Papou. His life so colourful and full it could write as a 2 part novel. I’m blessed to have known you for over 20 years and watch you soften, nurture and cherish all the moments you spent with us. We’ll all continue to make you proud and I promise I’ll look after and love Tonz and the kids with all my might! 🤍 Emmy x
Linley Janssen Our beautiful mate. Many years of memories. All happy ones except the last one when we lost him.
Jasmina Andros Where to begin. My Bapou was a legend of his time, a fighter, a rock and roll dancer, one of WA’s best cray fisherman, an icon of the time and known by all who crossed his path. Furthermore a great father and even better Bapou to my brother, cousins and I. My earliest memory is probably sitting on his lap in his house in Two Rocks. Yasu - Mina (the Greek version of Jasmina), he’d say. Everything was accepted when we were at bapous house, much to my parents despise. You want chips, chocolate, soft drink? ‘Have whatever you want Jasi!’ It was always an exciting trip, as you never knew who’d be popping in to say hello or the many stories you’d get to listen to. My favourite memory is going to bapous house every Christmas, and despite never eating much seafood was always impressed by the mountains of freshly caught crayfish and seafood. I’ll never forget the Bali trip (one of his 80+ trips) we went on as a family. Spending hours playing games in the pool at Bapous hotel, dining out and visiting all the touristy spots: water bomb park, zoo etc. One of the things about Bapou is that he always believed in you, if you wanted to be a singer, actor or footy player- he was constantly asking when you’d be on TV and encouraged you to pursue whatever it was at the time. You were the best Bapou I could ask for and you’ll be missed dearly and never forgotten. The legend of Andy Andros will always live on 🤍
