Amanda Benson

Amanda J Benson (age 25) passed away on August 5th 2025 in a tragic aviation accident while on a mission as a commercial pilot in a medical mission alongside her step-dad and fellow commanding pilot, Jeffrey R Tuning (age 66). Two additional and amazingly dedicated medical team members onboard the mission perished as well with no survivors. Amanda’s beautiful spirit will always resonate here on earth because she lived with true intention, pursued her dreams to the fullest, and left us all basking in her essence and feeling deeply loved and amazed at her wit, intelligence, drive, fearlessness, beauty, and adventuresome spirit. There can never be another Amanda Jean in this world. Amanda was truly a force to be reckoned with and a blessed and gifted individual that lived with intensity and determination and grace. Amanda and Jeff made the ultimate sacrifice while pursuing an undeniable love for flying high above in our skies. They died together on this earth but their unbreakable energetic bonds live on for eternity. We miss you terribly, Sweet Amanda, and wish you were not gone so soon with the deepest, most haunted longing. May your physical body rest in peace on earth and your soul fly free always knowing how much love eternally exists for you. I love you I love you I love you.
