Alfred Sydney WEITZEL
In the First World War, Alfred Sydney WEITZEL volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Brisbane, Queensland aboard HMAT Marathon on 27 October 1916. He was a member of the 47th Infantry Battalion. Alfred is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
