    1990

    Community Test A natural on the snow. Chumpy, who earned this nickname during his childhood, started snowboarding at a young age of three. He credited his family with his success and revealed his parents taught him to ski. 'My best memory of the snow was being pulled behind my dad's ute on a toboggan, I was three'

    2002

    Community Test When he was 15, Alex competed in the open men’s FIS Snowboard Australian National Championships, with his Dad, Chris who served as his board tech. He won the event which inspired him to focus on much bigger goals.

    2010

    Community Test The face of Australia's Winter Athletes. He was the flag bearer in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. A milestone in his snowboarding career where Chumpy made himself a house hold name. Qualifying fastest in both runs, in front of his family and a global audience.

    2012

    Community Test With longtime girlfriend model, Ellidy Vlug. They met back in 2012 and initially withstood the challenge of a long distance relationship to develop a deep bond that would grow for years to come.

    2014

    Community Test A man who could do remarkable things on the snow.

    Community Test This legendary athlete's interests stretched beyond snowboarding. He was also a singer-songwriter who loved performing in venues.

    Community Test He had vivacious passion for all things outdoors especially water activities. An avid surfer, Alex was also a keen spearfisher which tragically led to his passing.

    Community Test In 2020, Pullin announced his retirement from the sport. He went on to spend time with his 2 loves - girlfriend Ellidy Vlug and Kelpie puppy - Rummi.
