Aliza Ansell Having known Addie since she was a baby, I was thrilled when she partnered with and eventually married Ashley. What was so wonderful about this dynamic duo was how they seized life to the fullest. Whether it was loading up their car to drive across the country two years ago or going to sand sculptures, Casinos, marches or viewing Christmas lights in Winthrop, these two laughed and giggled their way through so many wonderful adventures. I loved hearing about their travels as we sat around the table eating bagels for brunch. Addie’s zest for life, her bright colors, bright hair, bright smile, fierce dedication to her students, political causes and life inspire me and so many. As the poet Mary Oliver said, What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life, Addie lived her precious life to the fullest.

Gideon Ansell Thnaks to all who came to celebrate Addie's life at services, funeral, and shiva. I spoke about Addie being my "Little My". Here's that character... along with Moominpappa... mischievous, fierce, fun-loving, and fearless. That's Addie.

Ying Wang Addie was truly a bright light and I wish we had more opportunities to connect over the years. I first met Addie when we were teenagers at the ICA and traced each other’s figures on cardboard for an artist project. Then we reconnected again when Addie hosted a Hanukkah lighting event with Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley at Turtle Swamp Brewery. Both times were so memorable because Addie is so memorable. Sending her family and loved ones all the best during this time!
