2020 has been like nothing i have experienced before. The world was brought to a standstill by the covid19 virus. I want you my descendants to have a record of what it was like to live in 2020.

Join MemoriesAllyson Smith Every year on New Years Eve we go to a party at our friends Ally and Richy Young house. This year was no diffetent. Sadly it was the last time we were going to meet up with friends for quite some time.
Allyson Smith February saw some unusually high winds. A huge tree blew down in the woods at the back of the house and fell straight into our garden. It destroyed most of one side of the garden and a bit of our neighbours Lee and Sarah's garden. The tree was about 100ft high so we were very lucky. If it had fallen on rhe other side of the garden it would have hit the house.
Allyson Smith In March the country went into lockdown to combat the spread of covid19. The viruscwas first identified in China at the end of 2019. It spread like wildfire and every country in the world has been affected by it. Thete was no bank work in Theatre for me. I did some training so I could correctly fit PPE masks 😷 to keep staff in the hospital safe. For the first time in years I worked on my birthday.
