My condolences to the family, Rita was my grade 2 teacher at Mundingburra SS and later knew her through Karen Winkworth whom I played hockey with in Townsville.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Rita was a beautiful soul who always made us feel welcome and included, even if we spontaneously dropped in with Wayne, Janet and the kids.
