    Mary Carr Nestlé invested in the production of rapeseeds in his area, and began production of nut oils, liqueurs and vinegar alongside carbonated drinks.

    Mary Carr Nestlé produced a powdered substitute for breast milk, called Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé (Henri Nestlé's Milk Flour). After he saved a very ill premature baby boy with the product, its popularity skyrocketed across Europe.

    Mary Carr Nestlé opened a London office to help manage the orders he was receiving for his powdered milk.
