Tony was a very loyal employee of Sport Tasman and I enjoyed my association with him while on the Sport Tasman Board. He was made me feel welcome and had a caring nature. I thoroughly enjoyed his company and conversation which was about family life , our wellbeing and then a little bit about work . I knew Tony in the early 1960's when he was just a little boy. He was a shy cute wee fella way back then and adored by all.
Met Tony again when my daughter worked at Sport Tasman and I contacted him more recently wanting to pass on some of his family photos.
Tony was so warm and friendly, just like his family were.

Wow what a shock to hear of Tony's all too soon passing. he was such an awesome person to have at the Saxton Stadium and really enjoyed the good banter and assistance he was always willing to give for the netball to run smoothly.
